Hello all,
Recent owner of 2017 Acura MDX Tech with 98000 miles. I think I've spent a good time trying to get used to this transmission. I've already had the computer updated with the E20-015 update I believe it was. It helped for a bit. It never did fix the delayed shift starting out that's super annoying. It's the first vehicle I've ever had that has done that. Lately, I've been getting little light , jerky feels an accelerating in the gears. It doesn't matter which mode. I usually do Sport. There are no codes. I'm wandering if it's possibly underfilled or something. It doesn't appear to be fuel related I don't think. I was wandering if it's some type of micro slipping from contaminated fluid or low. It's hard tell. I usually do the work in my driveway. It's crush and run and level though. I can't put it up on jacks. I drive it around and have it nice and warm when I drain ATF though. It's usually right at 100 with an infrared thermometer. Yesterday,I only got out like 2.5 quarts ATF. I added another 1/2 quart just to feel safe. It's like having a new kid at the house all over again.
