GPS anomaly?

went on short trip to the store. GPS had me ~1/4 mile from my location. Had my general direction, but did not lock on the road. For part of the way, it said un-digitized road and then locked on another road about 1/4 mile away. On return trip all was good.

That has happened to me a few times. I think it is because the GPS system hasn't locked on to enough satellite signals to give you a more precise location. I've only experience this when I have a limited clear view of skies like from buildings or in a valley surrounded by mountains. It usually snaps back to normal after a few minutes.

Same for me. I've had 3-4 occasions during the first few weeks where the GPS signal isn't there and the car is wandering around in places you know it isn't. After a while it does wake up and end up back on the road. I did have this issue occasionally on my '15 RDX, and never figured out the rhyme/reason for when it happened. I know there's another thread somewhere in Acurazine about issues with the '17 Navigation similar to this - but even there I don't think there's a resolution to keeping it from happening...

See TSB 18-011 - GPS Shows Vehicle in the Wrong Location in the 2017 TSB thread.
