Good Morning. I have a 2019 mdx tech. Recently did my brakes and well didn’t torque one of the bolts correctly. Well driving out of state. The bolt popped broke and my caliper came off. Did a little damage to rim but other than that just the bolt broke.

the place I had the car towed to said they can it get the part until Monday. I am trying to find it today so I can get home and back to work.

the mechanic said it is the bolt that goes to the knuckle. Said it was part 18 in the diagram below. He said it is the part that goes to the frame.

cam anyone confirm if this is the part? I would have to Uber to get it and then to the auto mechanic today to get it done.

The auto mechanic called all the Acura’s in the area. No one had the bolt they had to go to one state over that had one, but on my way home, I started getting a flat turns out the rim has a hole in it. I need a new rim now

 

It doesn't rain, but it pours.

 

three days in hotel. Missed fishing trying to locate the bolt.

Now I am looking for best place to buy the rim

 

how did the rim get a hole in it?
