Our MDX is the Base which did not come with the beeping Back-up sensors so I was searching for a easy, cheap and DIY alternative. I did not want to drill holes, route wires through or take apart the bumper (which would be more to install after labor and parts) and came across this company:
Time will tell but this sounds like a non intrusive, OEM alternative for $150. It's an elegant, licence plate mounted solution and very easy to monitor via their Bluetooth app. They have good reviews on Amazon so bit the bullet and invested in one for the front (as that's where there are no cameras). You can buy 2 and mount it front and back, but since I have the back-up camera only got one.
Has anyone tried similar products?

FakeSpot initially gave the Fensens Amazon listing a "F" grade. Now they get a "B". I'd be wary.
Also, "elegant" is NOT a word I would use to describe this product. It's ugly. The batteries have to be replaced frequently. The marketing material states up to 5 months battery life... So best-case scenario you're changing batteries 2-3 times a year -- maybe more. You have to open the app on your phone for it to even work.

Hard PASS for me.
That’s fine maybe this one is not for you. I prefer changing 6-8 AA batteries/yr to paying close to $2K to add the front and rear Backup sensors.
I have fensen on my car, it just came out recently.. It was a indiegogo crowd source project. OInly cost 80 bucks each when I funded it around 2 years ago. Yeah it took that long for them to develop it and make it into a frame. A lot of these project do not even get shipped. Once installed, you can't even see it. When i look at a car, I rarely look at the license plate. Doesn't bother me.. People ask me what it is, I told them its ECM like what they have on f16, electronic counter measure, laser and radar jammer... the look you get on peoples faces.
What i like about it is that it'll removable. It has security screws and device login, so without the device code, its useless when you try to register it without the original account, sort of like find my iphone.
You can move it car to car and have no issues. I got these in august, on the car I drive the most, the battery is down to 75% ish, the other car I dont drive as much its 92%.
What I dont like
Some sensor may be faulty, for a while there was nothing in front and its going off, they'll replace the frame but its not as good as the factory system. There's only 2 sensor onframe. So it doesn't cover the right and left side of the bumper. Factory system has 4/5 ?
They updated the app like 3-4 times, so they can introduce or break the plate if theres some coding error. I have 2 phones, so theres always one phone on waze and on parking when needed. They have a bluetooth tap button that launches the app, so you dont need to hit the home button, look for the app and launch it.
Im close enough to 1 car, the top right shows battery, F for front, B for back.
