Center support already installed when installing ATF cooler?

Center support already installed when installing ATF cooler?
The accessory ATF cooler kit includes a center support that the cooler mounts on to. When I went to install it, the center support was already there. Has anyone that installed the ATF cooler notice this too? Was your car FWD or AWD?
