Car turns off making a left hand turn. Engine stops are incredibly dangerous

Since I'm not getting answers to my threads/responses - let me give you another one...yeah I'm a "thread starter..."

Does anyone else think it's criminal when your car turns off by itself because you press "too hard" on the brake pedal? Then, when you need immediate power to make a left hand turn on a road with multiple lanes (and no light) you have to wait for your car to turn on and then decide when it wants to deliver power?

I mean do I have to die before this is addressed (and my estate sues Honda)? By the way it will under those circumstances...fortunately for Honda, I am too careful.

I can't believe this is an issue and even worse that nobody sees the inherent flaw/danger to post about it.

I should add how it should be addressed, 2 very simple steps.

1. When I turn off the engine stop it should remain off until I turn it on again regardless of how many times I turn my car on and off. Furthermore, there should not be what equates to an "error light" on my dashboard when I turn it off.
2. The car should accelerate without delay when I press the accelerator pedal (commiserate with how much I press and the ability of the motor).

Well, Acura's not the only one who has auto start/stop in their cars, and virtually every one resets it's "memory" to the enabled mode when restarting the car. I'll never forget the first time I experienced this in a car - an early 2010's BMW X3 rental in the midwest. I thought there was something wrong with the car as it kept stalling when stopped. Very annoying.

As other threads have talked about, there is a solution. The https://www.idlestopper.com/product/...=false&q=false solves the problem. Easy to install and you never need to worry about pushing that auto start/stop button again, as the default mode is "disabled". Yes, there's a light on the dash saying it's disabled, but after a while you don't notice it. Have used this for 3 years now and never looked back....
