Anyone have experience with a brake controller (for a trailer) with their MDX? I just bought a Tekonsha P3 and when I try to plug it in (with their 3028-P harness), it doesn't turn on. I know the unit works, but I can't seem to measure any voltage from that harness nor the Acura one that came with the tow package that my Acura dealer installed. Is it supposed to turn on when the engine is on or just when I press the Start button once? I saw there was a recall on a trailer wiring harness, so I'm wondering if that could be an issue, but I JUST had the tow package installed, and I would think they would check that too, right?

 

Take it back sounds plausible enough

 

I would get out the Acura trailer harness install instructions and make sure all the correct fuses are installed in the cargo area fuse panel.

 

Yup, I just stopped by the dealer, and they didn't put the fuse in. Thanks!
