Has anyone replaced or removed their backup camera before? Didn’t find anything on this so far

 

Never seen an OEM camera replacement. But with module like GROM Vline2 have A/V inputs for 3rd party cameras. Not sure if it integrate nicely when car is in reverse, probably does. MDX camera is worthless at night or rainy seasons. It's so blurry!!

 

Oem is alright I admit, but it’s impossible when using a trailer hitch for carrier. Thought maybe I can do an extension and but another used camera to extend it

 

in addition to the camera being bad, the resolution of the display in the infotainment system is even worse.
