Automatic heating continues to blow hot air after reaching temperature
I found some posts on the earlier generations where you could enter a troubleshoot mode for the HVAC system. Is that possible for the 3G MDX?
My wife is the primary driver of the car and has complained that if she sets the temp to 70 degrees it seems to continue blowing hot air after the cabin reaching 70 degrees. Trying to troubleshoot other than just replacing the sensor.
It looks like the sensor is in the drivers knee plate under the wheel.

Make sure that the HVAC system is in full "auto" mode (push the Auto button and make sure the light is lit). When not in Auto mode, the temp controls are sort of like the manual dials that just control the position of the mixing valve for the heater core. Only in "auto" mode will the temp setting be used to regulate the temperature automatically. Other than that, I don't have anything else that comes to mind....
