So looking at Acura Link it appears that the maps function there (and, presumably, the navigation system in the vehicle) is powered by Bing. Is there any way to change this to Google maps?

PS: Why in God's name would Acura use Bing as their default engine for anything? For that matter, why would anyone?

 

Not that I know of but 2018 lineup of all other Acuras is equipped w android auto and apple car play...FINALLY. I anticipate 2019 on MDX will as well. Also Qi wireless charging.

 

Well then yeah hopefully the '19 MDX will have those features. But then they could just wait until the next full redesign which will probably be '20 or '21. Which would be fine for me since that's when my lease is up anyway.

 

Mine is up Feb 19, so I would like it for the 19 models lol
