I realize it's a couple years out, but I am curious if Acura will continue to have the MDX last for 7 model years, while the RDX has only lasted 6 model years. The first model year for the current MDX was 2014, which on a 7-year cycle, would put the next MDX as a 2021 model. That seems a long-time away, and I wondered if there was any chance of the MDX moving to a 6-year cycle like the RDX, and having the 4th Generation model come out in 2020. Given the MDX has sold nearly just as well as the RDX over the last 5 to 8 years, it would seem Acura would want to continue to keep pace with the competition.
