Question 2019 MDX Advance SH-AWD 265/45/R20 Tire Recommendations

I'm looking for new tires for my 2019 MDX Advance SH-AWD with OEM 265/45/R20 tires. It's in at the shop now getting maintenance and they said I'll need new tires pretty quickly. What OEM tires come stock on the 2019 Advance?

In general my priorities for tires are all season tires (with emphasis on good snow/ice traction in winter) as well as tread that minimizes road noise. Looking at Costco and Discount Tire for options but was looking to see if anyone else in similar midwest climate with snow in winter had any good recommendations?

Costco has Michelin Lattitude Tour HPs and Michelin CrossClimate2

Discount Tire has too many options to list. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Reading on Tirerack, the Continental CrossContact LX25's are very highly rated/reviewed, as are the Pirelli Scorpion WeatherActive. The Yokohama Geolander CV G058 also did well, but isn't available in my size.

Does anyone here have experience with the Contintental CrossContact LX25's or the Pirelli Scorpion WeatherActive?

I have a 2019 Advance and recently replaced the OEM Michelins. I started with a set of Conti LX25's, also based on TireRack's ratings/reviews. I found them to not perform well at all on my MDX. They rode really rough, and felt unstable when driving on the highway. I took advantage of Continental's 60-day ride policy, and put on a set of Continental DWS06+ tires, and they've been great. I actually upgraded to a 275-45R20 and they fit great and look a bit better in the wheel wells. They ride much smoother than the LX25's and make the MDX handle very sporty. Now, I live in NH and run a set of dedicated snow tires in the winter, so year-round traction wasn't something I was worried about. Looking at the tread of the DWS06+, I'm not sure they'd be a good choice if you live in a snowy climate. So that's something to consider.

Others have sun the praises of the Pirelli's on MDX's (in other MDX forums). Others have also been real happy with the Michelin CrossClimate 2's. They claim that they remain relatively quiet year-round and do well in the winter. I'd have considered that route if I didn't have snow tires for the winter. Another brand to consider is Nokian (those are the snow tires I run). They also sell all-weather tires that work well.

good luck - andy

Thanks for the feedback, very helpful! Initially I was considering the Michelin CrossClimate 2's, however looking at Tire Rack's road test they performed poorly in a few areas including road noise, emergency maneuver stability and lateral skidpad (albeit I don't see myself driving like a race car driver so may not come into play). So based on those results I had them crossed off my list as the Pirelli's scored much better in these areas and were one of the top tires on the road test.
