I just purchased this 2016 MDX SH-AWD TECH+ENT+ACURA WATCH on last Sunday, 3 days later today I just noticed that the right side fender is not flashing with the bumper, but the left is flash and nice. Is this was caused by sloppy work at the factory? Do you guys/gals think I can bring it back to the dealer to ask them fix this issue?

If it bothers you that much then yes.

The panels would need to be adjusted so they sit flush. The dealer may send it to their body shop to get them to make those tweaks.

 

100% Yes. I've had two issues already due to poor workmanship on the build. I took the vehicle back to the dealer and they fixed both without questions asked. You paid for a new car, not a used one, so any sort of issues like that you should take it back for.

 

This is sad to hear as may of the 2014s I saw on the lot had poor fit and finish, especially the rear bumper to fender seam. Sounds like Honda hasnt fixed this.
