2014 MDX Trim Levels & Colors

These have just started showing up on the Locater.

Still do not have any details on what is included in the trim levels standard or optional, but there are now 8 levels. Technically 4 trim levels and both in either FWD or optional SH-AWD.

2014 MDX, FWD or AWD
2014 MDX Tech, FWD or AWD
2014 MDX Tech Ent, FWD or AWD
2014 MDX Advance Ent, FWD or AWD

And the color combinations:

-CRYSTAL BLACK PEARL/EBONY
-FATHOM BLUE PEARL/GRAYSTONE
-CRYSTAL BLACK PEARL/PARCHMENT
-FOREST MIST METALLIC/PARCHMENT
-FOREST MIST METALLIC/EUCALYPTUS
-GRAPHITE LUSTER METALLIC/EBONY
-GRAPHITE LUSTER METALLIC/GRAYSTONE
-DARK CHERRY PEARL/PARCHMENT
-SILVER MOON/EBONY
-SILVER MOON/GRAYSTONE
-WHITE DIAMOND PEARL/EUCALYPTUS
-WHITE DIAMOND PEARL/PARCHMENT

Interested to see what Eucalyptus looks like, as the other Graystone, Parchment and Ebony should be just as now.

Still on target for a May 25th launch as of now.

Eucalyptus ... well I think we can rule out green. Maybe it is a dark brown color? That would be nice.

Excellent Info. Can I ask your source? Is this the confirmed list for 2014? Been wondering myself...

Thanks!

Hmmm...no WDP with Ebony combo eh? Glad I purchased a 2013...IMHO, I think the 2014, with the exception of it's headlights and taillights, looks only so so.

I'm still unclear on what Eucalyptus may actually be, however the digitized chip online shows a dark gray shade. May be brown as well, just not showing. It is definitely darker.

This list is direct from the Acura ordering system and locator. Dealer access. So yes, it is official and what the cars are being ordered from.

Is the Krell Audio system included with the Advance package? The RLX has ELS Premium at 404 watts, ELS Studio at 588 watts, and Krell. I'm thinking the MDX may not have all the features like the RLX for a while.

This I still do not know. Other than colors and trim levels, no other information about them specifically has been released. Will keep watching.

Acura will unveil the new production MDX at the New York Auto Show next week. I will go and take a lot of pics and post them here. Please look out for them.

More watts does not mean more quality.

Correct. Just because an audio system has a higher watt rating does not automatically mean it is better. Quality of components and different grades matters as well, and you see now with Krell and its lower wattage rating vs. some of the ELS systems.

I was thinking more in features. What added features you get with Studio version compared to the regular ELS? I'm thinking the ELS get 6-disk changer and the studio version has the hard-drive and it can play more music formats.

Seems like forest mist is actually some sort of light green. Will look great with a dark brown interior assuming eucalyptus is a dark brown.

Ooooh, I just realized that Forged Silver is not listed there. The prototype had that distinctive blue hue of Forged Silver and it looked fantastic. However, it's not on this list here.... unless that's Forest Mist??? But FM did sound more like a light green....
