Recently purchased a 2014 MDX and the outside temperature is reading ---F also (I don't care that much but...) the rearview mirror is, I think, supposed to have night vision and it doesn't have then green lights (indicating functionality). Any ideas?? Also there is a button on the outside tailgate (not the open button) it has 5 dots in a diamond pattern, what is it for?

 

Temp can be set F C in the setup menus. It should also allow you to adjust it +/- a few degrees in the same setup menu. The two buttone on the lift gate, one open/close. The second button father right is a lock all button

 

I have been through all the menus and cant figure out how to get numbers (the temp) to show up.

 

For the temperature, there always a number for me, I never see --F.
For the Auto dimming, if it stays dim all the time, please check the fuse, I had this problem as well, going to dealer this Sat.
For the tailgate, the middle button is to open tailgate, the one on the right side is to lock the car.
