2014 mdx tail light
So My 2014 mdx tail light went out and got a quote Of Over $1200 To fix It. I mean I'm no expert but is that accurate? It wasn't an acura dealership just some local guy. I just hit My 50,000 mile mark and I'm hoping they'll honor my warranty.

I knew it was ridiculous amount but he mentioned something about all the wires in there and that led lights are expensive. I know very well how "expensive" they are. Mind you, I went to the same person to fix a fuse for a light inside my car and that cost me a whopping $15 and acura wanted $275.

Did you get your taillights fixed by changing the bulbs? Does this car have full OEM LED taillights? In that case it could be an issue since you would have to buy the entire tail light assembly.

well acura ordered the whole piece whatever that means. I thought it would just need a bulb change since it's only the driver side but what do I know!

I just went through a problem with my tail lights. None of my rear lights were working, not even the light over the license plate. However my turn signals and break lights were working. I changed the fuse, but it blew right out again after I turned the vehicle on. It ended up being a problem with one of the LED lights. It was covered by the warranty. They put in a new assembly.
