Curious if any one knows if the Nav / infomat & rear camera system has been up graded. '16 MDX was not impressive and for this class / price point i would expect a faster Nav / infomat processor. Also the camera seemed blurry and slow Thoughts ?

 

Software version is newer, but everything else is pretty much the same.

 

How is the clarity on the screens ? I also heard Acura stopped the weather app for Sirius - Really ?

 

clarity is average. again my 14 RDX is better than the 17 MDX ...

 

Most perplexing. Why would they ever want to do that?

 

I don't understand either.. I got a 16 ILX as loaner today and it's brighter and it looks clearer to me as well.I don't know if it's because the screen size is relatively smaller, thus if they're the same resolution the smaller screen looks better. in order to provide higher resolution images they need more powerful graphic processor as a better screen. A better screen may mean other redesign in terms of dynamic resolution on displaying other things. i am just guessing.. but i hope we can see a HD cam one day. Auto manufacturers should include dash cam as feature one day too.
