XXR's

Hey guys,

Has anyone looked into the XXR range? The specs that they have are quite decent and I think could fit our cars so I might be leaning towards them as RAYS/Work Meisters etc require crazy offsets and crap to look good Also, they're $1,245 delivered to my door within 2 weeks.

Anyways, I was looking at the 527's, 521's and the 522's. It's more between 521 and 522 but still unsure.. Not sure how much concave the 522's will have if they're 19x10 +20..

There's a guy here in Australia that's running 20x8.5 +30 fronts and 20x10 +20 rears. He's on bags (which by the way, does it make a difference if you're on bags or coils?!?!?!?!), he's rolled his guards, no pulling and is running a camber kit in the front.

XXR 527:

XXR 522:

Yeah, 527's were my initial rims but then took a look and liked the others too. If 522's look like 18's then itll be between 521 and 527.

Can anyone answer the bags and coils question?

Ok I tried on all thee above. The concave ones have small areas around the lugs so unless you get tuner lugs that tightem with a key from the inside of the lug you will scratch it up badly around the lugs. The 521 look god in a 10” wide but only come in a 25 offset. It will stick out a half inch to a.full inch past the fenders. Will work with negative camber. If you get the 8.5” wide ones they dont have that step lip and dont look right. these are sold at most shops in ny for $800 a set. Any more question feel free to ask.

I wouldn't mind any of them but since I'm hearing 522's look small, it'd now be between 521 and 522. The guy selling these only has limited stock at the moment and right now, for the 521's, he has 20x8.5 +32 and 20x10 +30 which aren't good specs..

Also, I live in Australia so it's more expensive since I have to get them shipped over etc

Any other rim suggestions?

Ohhh I see. Damn, that sucks.. was a bit excited that there were some concave wheel that'd probably fit the TSX/CU2 :\

Cheers for the info guys, feel free to give me your 2c.

521, 526 and 527 are the only XXR's that I would buy. Ive seen them all in person and they all look good. The 526's look convex which is not good, but in real life they look great; the convex is exagerated in pics. I feel like the 527's look better off the car than they do on the car..which is weird but just my personal opinion. 521's look great all the time and I would totally buy them if they came in 19's.

Anyways, i think XXR's are a great value wheel. In person, the ones I've seen look legit and they come in great sizing. Ive contemplated buying a set before.

Ohh thanks for the ttk5. My friend bought a set of 527's for his S15.. 17x9 +20 something offset, he doesn't even know.. He's mounting them on on Saturday so I'll try see how they look on his car. I might even try see if I can get a hold of them before he puts them on to put along side my car lol.

Edit: Yeah, sucks that 521's don't come in 19's.. I don't think 20's would look too bad on our cars as it's big anyways.

The 20x8.5” will work just the tire will be small if your lowering the car.

If you want some killer rep wheels check out varrstoen wheels. Offsets are some of the best I've seen and wheels are almost identical to real wheels.

Yeah, don't get me wrong.. I'd go Varrstoen's if I could but I'm pretty sure I won't be able to fit 19x9.5 +22 at the fronts
