Winter Tires - Michelin Pilot PA3
Just installed a set of Micheline Pilot PA3 on steel rims. Actully wanted the lower speed rating Primacy PA3 but the store didn't have them.
I am loving these tires so far. They are very quiet on dry road. The car handles very well. Can't wait to try them in the snow.
The only regret I have is that I didn't check the width of the rims and asked for 7" wide rims. Our OEM rims are 17"x7". The store mounted the new tires on 17"x6.5" instead.

OEM 17s are 17x7.5. Regardless, narrow is actually better for heavy snow, so the 6.5s, IMO, are going to be better in the snow. The PA3s got excellent reviews, but you probably already knew that, so I'm not surprised at how good they are performing for you.

you fit a 225 wide tire on a 6.5" wheel?
