Wheels

There is such a lack of appropriate wheels for the TSX. I've studies some of the wheels the member of this forum are putting on and its just hideous and embarrassing, but there are a few good looking ones out there. Why are some of you replacing your wheels with cheaper/lesser quality wheels? I'd rather rock it stock than put crappy wheels on.

i actually agree with you, ive been searchin for rims for my car for the last month and havent seen anything that i think would look great, jus some okay stuff so far. but i definately hear you on cheap rims, no point of ordering some ugly small rims jus to say you have rims....as my mom would say "haste creates waste".

Looks and quality are subjective to the owner. Some people would rather have anything different, because in their opinion stock sucks.

The guys with the RJ's and the Work's, SSR's and the stock optional wheels are all good choices IMHO. What's there not to like about those?

There are others still who think $3000 for a set of something like a RAYS or BBS LM is wasteful, so they find a decent manufacturer that offers a set in the $1000-$1200 range.

To each their own. Then again, I might be a poser with TL-S wheels on my TSX. =P

nope, TL-S wheels are pretty classic! If I wanted to go for a clean OEM look, TL-S wheels would definitely be my first choice.

As for this thread, there's not much to say except that looks and quality are subjective to the owner. END OF STORY.

could also be that they want a different look or the rims were so cheap ($ wise) that they didn't want to pass on it

It is a definitely a subjective thing. I mean I have Enkeis and well the stock rims are made by enkeis.

I'm starting to wonder if your not here just loitering. No pics, no camera, and I'm assuming your family/friends don't have cameras either....

There are plenty of CU2's on this forum with nice wheels so to say that they are hideous and embarrassing is assinine.

You're being a troll again, Life.

If I may speak for the rest of us, we're here to learn from each other, for the camaraderie, the sense of community and an appreciation for this car.

Why are you here?

Your opening statement is as indefensible as was the other thread on how painting the window trim is 'one of the top three' threads in this forum.

Really?

You expect to e-fart in a room full of people and not expect us to call you out on it?

Rarely do the mods have to lock threads or ban members here for a violation of the TOS. You may want to peruse them at your leisure.

There is nothing wrong with your wheels. They look great on your car and I think many people have told you so.

I was wondering when you were going to jump on that wagon.

No one here is taking that fact that you think the wheels on most of the CU2's on this forum are hideous and embarrassing. Frankly I would be surprised if anyone really cared what you thought about their car. Most people here put a lot of thought into what wheels they want on their car.

To say that the bulk of the wheels on the CU2's on this forum are hideous and embarrassing is kind of like going onto a forum for overweight people and saying that overweight people repulse you. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to know that you might get flamed.

Save face by taking thirty (30) minutes out of your day and post some pics, from the internet of course since no one in your circle has a camera, of some wheels that you think are not embarrassing and hideous and would work on the CU2.

I didn't want to be too bold is saying it was the best thread in the CU2 forum, but, it's certainly at the top of the list in the top three. Right?

Just kidding. I almost considered your wheels in a different finish.

Actually this thread is probably in the top three of being pointless. Entertaining none the less.

'Taste' is subjective. Some people don't like the look of the TSX. Period. And although you may find some applications to be hideous and embarrassing, others do not. What the hell colour is PME anyway.

Oy, um, yeah, I'm still unable to discern if you have a really dry sense of humor, are completely narcissistic or are some kind of a contrarian to 'liven up the board'.

Lou, good call on the paint color, I don't think anyone even questioned it. It must be Palladium Metallic....Erroneous belief.

What exactly is the point of this thread?

Looks are subjective. Some may not like what others put on their cars, why do you care?

Even a camera and pictures do not prove you have the car. Anyone can take a picture of a random car and pass it off as their own.

Keep it civil in here.

Are you sure that you are not going to get the first gen because the dealer told you that is all you could afford. I`m sure that they had a great used 2004 base model with 150k on it they could get you into.

No wait I`m sorry. I`m sure that you are one of the few 26 year olds that has 30k cash to put down on a new car. 5k in wheels and everything else you have talked about on this forum. I wish you would go buy a 1st gen and go away.
