At what wheel offset will the tires rub with 1" Susp drop/

Does anyone know at what wheel offset point that stock 18" diameter tires would start to rub on the fenders with a 1' suspenion drop?

While at it... anyone know of a thread / post on how to cleanly roll the fenders?

How did you manage that? I'm on 18's with 235/45/18's and dropped 2" and don't rub at all.

My car doesn't rub and I don't want it too. I'm getting ready to drop the car 1" with +38 offset wheels and stock 18" tires. With the new wheels & tires installed it seems close and I don't want any surprises after lowering it.

So, my question still stands; whith a 1" drop, stock 18" tire size what is the max offset before the rear tires will rub?

I'm assuming you have a V6? Or are they the HPP (ASpec, whatever) wheels? I'm just asking because the stock I4 wheels are 17". Are the 18" tires the stock spec size?

+38 sounds a little low to me, but if you've already test fitted the wheels and they don't rub now, theoretically they won't rub with a reasonable (1") drop. You'll pick up a good bit of negative camber in the rear, if that's your primary concern. The front fenderwells should be large enough to where it won't be an issue either.

You shoul be totally fine. I'm running 20x8.5 with 35 offset and clear the front
the back I have 20x9.5 with 40 offset and barely clears

you won't need to roll your fenders on a 1 inch drop and 18"

what's the width of your wheels?

I'd have to think you could get to middle thrities before you started having an issue, but that's just a stab.

But you need to look at width too, not just the stock diameter. Wider wheels on the same offset will stick out more.

The car is a I4 with 18" Enkei Razr, +38 offset & stock V6 18" tire size. With stock suspension it seems close on the rear fender and worried in advance of 1"drop. I do plan to get a full alignment after installing the new shocks & springs. BTW, there are several others on the forum running these wheels but I can't get a response to the tire rubbing question (Davin for example)

Don't worry, two guys with 2nd gen tsx's have the 18 inch razrs on, they are far from rubbing. one has the s-tech springs which lowers 1.5". when you lower your car, the rear cambers in a bit. so it clears the fender even more.

I run 19 x 8 +32 off set with 245/35/19 tires and I'm slammed. I barely clear so You should be good at 38 free and clear.

on the rear before I slammed it. and now is even lower and the tire rebounds under the fender with no roll and no rubbing.

no rubbage

So running 18 38's you should be doing fine. in terms of clearing the fenderwell . Also dropping 1 " is barely a drop.. I can show you pictures of my car stock and then when i put eibachi's on it ifyou want.. barely noticeable.

My friend actually told me It'll look good once i get the drop on it, after I had already dropped it ( I put the RJ +48's and dropped at the same time .. he didn't know )

If I'm not mistaken the change in camber will be gone once the suspension is aligned ?

Non-USA Honda P/N 08W60TL3600B (SPORTS SUSPENSION FOR 2.4) Non USA Honda Accord = US/Canada Acura TSX.

Regarding my last reply /question about adjusting the rear camber; can the rear camber be adjusted? I'm guessing not at this point??

On a 1" drop you shouldn't need to adjust the camber, "set the toe and let it go."

You probably don't want to correct any negative you'll pick up on the rear to give you additional clearance. You don't want the wheel perpendicular to the ground.

Thanks to all for the info, have learned a lot about the car here on the forum. I'll post some pics in a couple of weeks after I install the Euro Sport Kit.
