What rims should i put on my VRTX BLUE TSX??

I searched and couldn't find pictures of vortex blue TSX's with rims.

Any suggestions of what rims look good on a vortex blue TSX??
(I want 19's for sure)

Suggestions and pictures are appreciated.

Thanks!

There was one other VBP tsx. I think his username is bigman09tsx. you can use the search and check out his car. He has ronjon legends.

this is what i think would look best, 3 inch drop, 5% tint, 20 inch deep concave matt black wheels with a chrome lip, pitch black blackout tail lights, and yellow calipers

ya im not feeling the yellow calipers. I come from a mustang gt so ricer is the last thing i want to go for.

About the black rims, i think its hard to put black rims on a blue tsx because the chrome accents stand out and dont match (around the window, door handle, etc.)

^ but that's why a black rim with a machined rim line or chrome lip would be great. You can also do a machined face rim with black trim.

I love the color of your car and every time i see it i say if i had that color black rims would be a go. The main question you have to ask yourself is do you want to go in the more sportier direction or the more luxury direction.

A liquid silver or matte silver rim would look good on that color also. I personally don't like that color on my cars because i feel that is the standard color for all stock wheels. So what's the point. Unless the wheel just looks that good.

You can also take idea from the lexus IS-F and go for a gunmetal kind of finish also.

IMO, most silver finishes (but not chrome) or a lighter gunmetal will go well with the blue as well as the chrome accents. Spoke design is mostly personal preference in terms of how it flows with the lines of the car, but I personally like 6 or 10 spoke with a little concavity. Certain mesh designs like the BBS LM go nicely too. I would also highly recommend at least an inch or two or drop before putting any aftermarket wheels on it, because if not, it just doesn't look right with the stock wheel gap. Just my 2 cents.

The Tirerack "view on vehicle" tool is pretty good for helping you visualize how certain spoke designs will look on the car.

Also, for fitment and offset resources, I compiled some here:

You can't go wrong with this look. Make sure you paint your entire brake assembly and not just the calipers.

You could do black wheels with a chrome lip to match the accents.

I agree silver or gunmetal are nice. Come to think of it... I really like the Lexus IS-F rims!! Are there any rims similar to it that fit the TSX???

About dropping my car, I don't think I will ever drop a car again. I dropped my previous car (mustang) . Looked good, but the ride and comfort level was awful! Maybe I can put 20's on the car so the wheel wells don't look so empty?

ignore the trolls, lmao.

as soon as i saw the title, i was also going to post the pic of the vortex with enkei's. i want them so bad for my baby. i think it is one of the best looking wheels, especially on our car. if you do it, i will be very jealous

and stick with 19's. 20 will be too big, and starts to have a higher effect on shittier traction, mileage, and acceleration. they are a good amount heavier idk about the mustang, but i hear 19's with a 1 inch drop provide a pretty nice ride depending on what you drop it on

The Accord HFP 19s look similar to the ISFs, I think. Larger wheels will not help the wheel gap, rather they hurt them. Since you cannot really stray too far from your stock overall wheel diameter (different from rim width), larger rim width means less tire, and less tire has the look of a larger wheel gap. If you're not gonna drop it, go with 18s with some beefy 245 tires. If you can drop it a little, 19s should look good. The chassis on these cars is pretty solid, so with the right springs, I'm guessing that ride quality deterioration will not be as bad as other applications.

Anyway, here's another member here with the HFP 19s. Looks pretty darn good, IMO.

The HFP's are awesome!! I wonder if they come in silver!?

I really want 19's so I will consider dropping the car. On my mustang I guess I didn't do it right...All I put on was eibach springs. I didn't put a chamber kit or replace the shocks and struts.

Oh btw does anyone know how dropping the car affects warranty?

i have seen these rims on many blue IS-F's.

Picked some up for my car (on order).

Think they would look solid on yours.

i believe thats vinyl, applied from the outside, so it can be cut into any shape you want. if you'd like, you can leave just the shape of a penis cut out over your reverse light would make for some very interesting reversing.

from one vortex blue to another. my opinion is going for the 19 inch enkei razr's with a drop. i think that picture that was posted is gorgeous, i showed it to my friends weeks ago and they all agreed that it looked fucking awesome. the black wwheel doesn't look bad, but first of all, it only works if your tails and such are also blacked out, and you have heavy tints. is anything keeping you from doing enkei's? just curious

I think the spokes are too straight and they don't blend with the curves of the car. I think wishbone style spokes.

told you that is a sick combo especially if you want to go for a more sportier look. Black with a machined lip or black with a machined rimline.
