Here is some information on TEIN’s coilovers:

All of TEIN’s coilover setups include 4 shocks and 4 coil springs. Every kit is ride height adjustable but some kits offer more than that. Here is some more specific information on each model:

TEIN Basics – ride height adjustable, ride firmer than stock but are not stiff. Great street setup with a sporty feeling and good rebound but not never jarring.

TEIN Super Streets (SS) – ride height adjustable, dampening adjustability (allows you to adjust relatively how soft or firm the rebound/ride is – 16 levels)

Please clarify. Right now on the Excelerate web site, BEFORE using the promo code, Basics are listed as 708.75 and the SS are 945. So we'd save $8.75 on the Basics and pay $5 more on the SS?

I was about to place my very first order via the Excelerate site for a set of Stop Tech rotors and Hawk HPS pads when I saw this post that got me thinking about upgrading my suspension as well.

Eager and a bit confused in 92126...

 

The issue is that TEIN lowered their MSRP by 10-15% recently. So that has screwed up the discounts and prices. Before the list on the SS was $1200 and the Basics were $900. However, I reduced the price again on the promo code to give a few more dollars off.
