The edfc actually hasn't been shipped yet, when I get it I'm thinkin about installing it right next to the seat inbetween the doors pointing up towards the roof. Its between there and under my steering wheel. I want it some place where I can easily access it but its not cluttering up our already cock pit seeming dash. I also intend on boosting the car in the future so I dont' want to have to end up moving it for my similar guage that will go under my steering wheel.

The ride? Its on the stiffest settings, and truthfully its not uncomfortable. The Eibachi springs made the ride pretty stiff it self so between that and what its currently at, is not that bad. Definitely can tell the difference can feel almost every bump in the road but it's not teeth chattering like heavy said :-P
Today i'm going to switch it to the softest setting and see what the difference is.
Tomorrow I think i'm gonna clean my baby up and find a nice place for a photo shoot
I didn't leave her slammed for long either, the tires rubbed the fender when the wheels were turned and I came off the on ramp into the bay, so that wasn't too practical

well apparently i'm a little off on my review, because had euro ride in the car after he was in his stock ride, and he said it was pretty damn stiff.

Looks great. I am thinking about doing this to mine as well, but I am kind of worried that my wife will screw up the front end when she drives it.

yup..compared to stock it is deff stiffer, but it really is not too stiff. I was hoping that it would be stiffer on the stiffest setting

i will be installing his old springs some time this week and then ill tell you how the ride compares

it is deff nice for those who want the ride height adjust ability and want to be able to switch between a very smooth ride to decently stiff ride

(note: stiffness is totally subjective to each person, coming from a GTI with FK coils, the stiffest setting on that car was veryyy stiff, to the point that i could not have an open container and go over bumps...that was the type of ride that i was hoping that the stiffest setting would be) overall the ride of the teins is very nice for a sports/lexury car

yeah they're great! I'm isntalling my edfc this weekend, the ride gets EXTREMELY stiff compared to the softest setting, its definitely a great investment, and for such a cheap price you can't beat the quality

lol thanks all, Yeah I Still haven't installed the EDFC due to bad weather and well being hung over and sleeping the entire day away.. I'm between the glove box and right above the hood latch on the drivers side. All though to be where the latch is at i'd have to leave it far enough forward to be able to move it for the diagnostic cable to be installed. Its a rough decision cause There are more places I'd like to put it, but doing it myself i'm not technically savy enough to actually install it clean. like the arm rest box inside there, or in the little cubby next to the mid console.

I'd really like to hide the edfc and open up the case its self and splice into the settings and set up switches to the 3 unused buttons next to the VSA button, that would be ideal. I'll have to see what me and my buddy can think of.

Still haven't figured out how I'm going to run the cables from the rear shocks to the front with out breaking anything haha.

Fifty whole dollars? LOL. Those wires are hella long, but also kinda large gauge from what I remember. There's minimal wiring, as both ends of the strut control wires are already terminated, right?

There's got to be a stereo shop that's dismantled the pillars & headliner for a dynamat install. Ask around & see what you can find out.

I finished the installation today, boy was it a bitch to get done. I can't find my digi camera so I couldn't take pictures of my car gutted to high hell. I had my seats and plastic parts all over the place, had to pull the AC blower out to get the cable through the firewall, and I ended up having to solder cables together. I shouldn't say I, I should say we. A technician at Norris Acura helped me. Well really he did most the hard work. It was exciting and I decided on putting it to the right of the steering wheel right over the gas pedal, directly under the silver dash piece.

Fortunately I had assistance, becuase it took a hell of a lot of alterations, and even a bit of cutting to get a clean lay. But currently it looks like nothing was done to the vehicle, and now this box has appeared out of no where. Very happy with the outcome. Waiting for the rain to stop to play with it

All of those floor panels you see there right under the steering wheel were removed, along with all the panels going back to the rear seat as well as the entire rear seat. Ended up having to pull the rear coil's out of the car to install the Motor and shove it back in. I lost the directions though and we have 4 screws left over that look like they were suppose to be in between the shocks and the motors or something. We'll see, So far it seems to work

I'll get pictures asap

haha, no .. wait yeah we did but by the time we finished we had em all int he right place :-P Turns out the four screws were suppose to be pushed into the shocks before we installed the motors, which would explain the little to no difference between the stiffest and softest settings now. Go us for failurism, I'll go ahead adn get it fixed and get a few pictures
