Seeking Low-pro tire / wheels advice - 2012 SE TSX

Hi all, i have a 2012 SE Sedan TSX.

looking to get some new wheels / tires. Looking to spend $1600 - $2000 Few questions for people below.

1. What size wheel would look good, not too big, on a 2012 tsx. I do not plan on getting it dropped. I was thinking 19" but thought I'd ask.

2. Is there a low profile tire that can be used year round? I planned on switching back to stock during winter but figured Id ask in case there was a way to prevent having to do so.

3. I have found many websites that sell rims but not sure how I'd actually get them other than costly delivery. Only store near me that really sells them is Discount Tire. Any advice on places to shop online / how to acquire the wheels/tires?

Im new to this sorry for the basic questions. Thanks!

search around the photo gallery for ideas;19's are very popular and I think the best size for our cars... 18's are nice too but depends on the wheel IMO

if you're planning to go 19's please drop the car it will look much better... next question you're going to ask is coilover/springs advice search is your friend

but popular ones are megans EZ coilovers lol

Also, has anyone ordered anything from carid.com? Thinking about getting the rims and tires from the site and having them shipped.

Thoughts?

Thanks,

a couple of people have ordered from there, i still suggest you get a drop before getting wheels, because youll regret it later on if you get the wheels first.

BUMP.....

Related Question:

I've read on a lot of forums that Tenzo-R wheels are very low quality and may crack or bend easily. Bummer, I found some I really liked.

How does Enkei compare to Tenzo?
What is a quality, strong wheel that is modestly priced. I don't need anything crazy, but am still looking for a quality product.

Thanks

Check out Enkei RPF1 / Raijin / RP03 / GTC01 / NT03

All great looking wheels!

And their quality far exceeds that of Tenzo-R wheels!

BUMP...

Okay, so I think I have found a pair of wheels / tires that I want to purchase and have a few questions for everyone, sorry these are very elementary questions.

1. When selecting the rims I have the following options.
F - 19 x 8
R - 19 x 8 OR 19 x 9.5

2. When selecting tires I have the following options.
F - 255/35Z/R19 OR 245/40Z/R19
R - 255/35Z/R19 OR 275/35Z/R19

So, I am assuming the 19 x 9.5 Rear Wheel choice and the 275/35Z/R19 Rear Tire choice are so I could have a wider set of tires and wheels in the back vs. the front.

My questions are

1. Why would I want this? (This is just a daily driver, no racing) and 2. If my 2012 TSX SE is currently all stock, would it even be possible to fit the wider tires and rims on the back if I wanted to.

Sorry for so many questions, but ...

3. I'm currently shopping on CARID.com and the prices seem high, does anyone have any other website they recommend where I could get the set mounted / balanced and shipped?

4. I read a few things about making sure your brake calipers would fit under new rims. Would my 2012 TSX SE all stock fit these new rims and tires? The site says it will but I just wanted to double check due to the caliper scare.

Rims - http://www.carid.com/tsw-wheels/mall...ck-444981.html
Tires - http://www.carid.com/continental-tir...ws-479143.html

Thanks for all the help

You can put these on your SE!!! These would be perfect IMO!

I shopped for wheels for about 2 months because only Tenzo made what I was looking for in 19s and read review after review about how horrible they were. Eventually I said f**k it and bit the bullet and ordered them and Falken 452s.

I gotta say I'm pretty impressed. I live in New Orleans and it's an obstacle course of potholes the entire 15 mile commute to work. And every day there is a new 6" deep pothole, so it's impossible to learn where they all are. Countless times I've hit some NASTY f'in holes to where I swore something had to have broken. Not to mention I'm lowered about an inch, which makes things worse.

A year later there still isn't a scratch on them, with the exception of a small curb rash on one, which isn't the wheel's fault. Otherwise, not so much as a chip on the paint.

Ordered them from wheelfire. They'll mount, balance, and ship everything for free. And include the centerbore adapters and lugs (although I bought better lugs elsewhere). It cost me just over $1,900.
They were the cheapest I found on pretty much every wheel/tire package I looked at, which was a lot of them.

Just my
