Opinions on these for my wagon

i wont be dropping much if at all. I do have snow to deal with here in CO.

TSW Strip 19x8 +40

http://www.tsw.com/alloy_wheels_strip.php

will that offset be OK, i am not into rolling fenders or cutting liners. I know for my uses +48 would be perfect.

I want the lip to compliment the chrome window trim/door handles. I really like 5 spoke. Gunmetal will look good with GLM

am open to other ideas. i looked at the ronjon but the only thing he has with a shiny lip is a 20 and Im pretty set on no larger than 19. multi spoke is good too.

One caveat. I have about a 1500 MAX Delivered budget on wheels. if money was no object I already talked to all the ones that start with a V.

here is another that I like.....

a quick chop

The 5 spoke look better than the other ones you linked to and 8" wide +40 offset will work just fine. If you like 5 spokes, the look that I really like are the 350Z 25th Anniversary rims or Mille Miglia Evo 5:

Yes, most Nissan wheels will fit because they are the same bolt pattern and have a larger hub bore. The only issue is that some of the newer Z/G rims have too low of an offset for the TSX.

Look here as well, I've provided the info on a few Nissan rims that I think will work:

Btw, if you like 5 spoke with a small lip, look for something like the Nismo LMGT4 or Rota P45 (IIRC).

Nismos are going to tough to find with the right offset, because most 19s I've seen are +25ish. They do come in less aggressive specs but those are rare. They are also not going to be cheap because they are rare and they are forged Rays Eng rims. I actually passed on a used set of bronze LMGT4s, 19x8.5 +35, for $1200 because I wasn't sure the lines really suited the wagon that well.

LMGT4:

Rota P45 (proper offset for a TSX might not look as concave as these though) :

I like 5 spokes but I don't like the first ones you have linked.

Are you sure you want to live with 19" wheels with CO roads?

i am planning on a 245/40/19 gives a 3.85 inch sidewall

if I go with 18 I could run a 245/45/18 exact same sizes. 4.24 sidewall vs stock 4.34 sidewall.

he did it with a drop https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-tsx-tires-wheels-suspension-300/installed-eibach-pro-kit-after-19-ron-jon-legends-844937/

I'm sure you saw that thread about how using a tire with the wrong outside diameter is considered odometer fraud and is one of the few things that will void your entire warranty summarily.

In this case, your tire has an outside diameter that is about 1.2 inches taller than stock (about 4.34%)

When your speedometer reads 60, then you are actually going 63mph. When you're odometer shows 50k miles, your actual mileage will be 2170 miles off - a significant amount and enough for the manufacturer to state that the actual mileage cannot be determined.

If the manufacturer decides to void your warranty, then it will be reported to DMV and CARFAX. Those things will make the value of your car plummet.

Will the dealership notice? Will they care? What happens if you have an issue away from home? Are you willing to take the risk?

Your car will sit a half inch higher and look more like the ubiquitous Outbacks running rampant in CO. The upside is that you'll reduce your wheelgap by a half inch. If you decide to drop your car then your 1 inch drop will slam your car on the tires but the body will still close to stock height.

Tread carefully if you value your warranty.

At least you are gathering facts and making informed decisions before diving into a mod head first.

My choice would be a 18" wheel with the properly sized tire and adding the Euro Accord suspension from the UK parts catalog - if you can verify that it'll fit.

thanks on the lead on the UK accord.

heeltoe seems to import quite a bunch of stuff so may check with him.

i added the splash guards at all 4 corners and reading about drops and them plus snow....... i think i will forgo a drop but go with the rear sway and links to start.

yeah, they should be legit, i dont think ron carries those finishes anymore and he liquidated a bunch off to various sellers at the end so you can find a few sets floating around on ebay

If you go on his website and go to the gallery you can find pics of this finish mounted on random cars

These look quite similar in spoke to the guy in Germany that had these in 20". Is that where you got the idea?

If you go with 18", I would definitely get something where the spoke goes all the way out to the rim lip to make it look bigger. Just compare the 19's I have had on my car. 18's with a lip are going to look like 16 or 17" wheels, whereas 18" with an extended spoke will still look big and give you more sidewall that you want. Something like the TSX V6 wheels have a machined finish that would look great with the chrome or even polished RonJon Legends. I don't think that you even need polished aluminum or chrome to set of the silver though. I really really like Xstasy's new wheels also in 18" The don't really look that much smaller due to the spoke design and give a bit of a 5 hole Alfa look to it while still having some creases like the TSX has:

my tpms have arrived so I am a step closer LOL

i have been chatting with a wheel guy about the Savini BM1

19x8.5 +45 5x114.3

THere are quite a few options in factory finishes THEN there are custom finishes. TO keep in my budget I need to stick to the factory finishes

brush/black with black lip
Titanium
Matte black
Chrome
brush/black with chrome lip

I find some good pics of the brush/black with chrome lip.

I asked him for something in the titanium to see what that looks like. I also asked about titanium with a chrome lip price but they would be custom so who knows if they get crazy.

I also sent a facebook to Rondy to see what ideas he might have.

the lip on these is way bigger than ill get with a 8.5 but its what I found........

That's true, but you're asking for opinions. Otherwise I would have stayed quiet. There are definitely some great inspirations over there. Get the Z wheels. I'd be SO jelly.

Wow, those are nice HFP wheels. I think they would look good on your car. I am now wondering if they will look good with my GBM. They are $300 more than the RDX 19's I want, but now I cant decide between the two wheels? Same specs on both sets, just wondering if the BS is the same.
