New TSX, Upcoming mods

Hey Guys,

Theres a few posts on my behalf in regards of wheels. I appreciate the suggestions and help

I just bought the 2009 TSX crystal black with black interior, 6spd manual last week

Already I have purchased the following items

Set of 5zigen Sport Engine SC3000 hypersilver wheels
19 x 8.5 these are with a 45 offset. should be very flush with the car.

Tires: Falken 452 245/35/19

Suspension: Tein S-techs 1.6 in front 1.4 in back
I think S-tech's so far have the biggest drop.

I will post pictures as soon as i get it installed, should be about a week when I receive them and few days to get it on my car.

Thanks!

I dunno if anyone has them yet or not. There's been a few posts about them from one of the guys here who donated his car for fitment.

I've installed them before and was very impressed on a 1G TSX app with the EDFC.

These are pretty flush, The back could definitely be pulled out another 5mm. but looks very clean its a 45 offset on 8.5 inch wide wheels.

Suspension is Tein S-techs...so far all JDM mods

Yeah, S-tech's the ride is good, but the rear camber went pretty negative. it looks good, but of course I should fix that if I want to save my tires for the long run.

S-techs are the lowest drop so far out of all springs. but still has a good stance, it clears most curbs barely by half an inch.

The front is 1.6 the back is 1.4. I can barely stick one finger on the front and the back prob .5 of a finger can fit.

FWIW, camber doesn't kill tires, toe does.

HOLY CRAP!

No thanks, I regularly have 3 kids in the back, a hottie in the front, a full tank of gas, and sometimes a trunk full of luggage. Too low for me.

Anyhow, S techs will be in today and still contemplating whether to drop or wait for aftermarket struts/shocks. What are your thoughts on the drop so far? Since I have 18's, my gap will not be as close as yours, correct?

Nice.. 18's would of been too small. my 19's dont look that big, just perfect, since the wheelwell is huge now. the gap depends on the overall width of your tire and wheel. and mine is just a bit larger than stock

Are you going to do something with the camber in the rear? I was told today that my tires would rub if I installed a camber kit. Are you rubbing at all, even with passengers in the rear?

not rubbing at all, in the meantime i dont plan to get a camber kit, but probably an aligment when I get my first oil change.

i like the negative cambered look and was told that it shouldnt be a problem as long as my toe is set right.

i also plan to roll my fenders and get some spacers

hey how is the ride on the S techs? I am considering them or the H&R.

I was told that the S's have the firmest ride compaired to any other spring availible for our cars at this time.

Shopping Spree!!.

I like my current wheels, but I really want an aggressive stance and shooting for a mild VIP look.

I will be mounting some EXE Image Wheels with staggered setup (yes, it doesnt make sense in a fwd) but its all for looks.

Going for DUBS

20x8.5 +35 front
20x9.5 +40 front

probably will have to roll my fenders.

I will also be installing a decklid spoiler, roof spoiler, HID Fogs with matching low beams.

should be exactly a week from now.

What will you do with your old rims? What kind of roof spoiler?

Let us know how you go with trying to fit a staggered fitment, i was also tempted to go 20 x 8.5 front, 20 x 9 back, but decided not to due to the fact that that it might cause too much headache even with the fenders rolled, i spoke with a guy that does the guard rolling, he wasn't quite keen on it as he thinks with the new euro there really isn't much to roll. but let us know how you go would love to see the new euro with staggered set up

I've done a lot of fitment research. I will have to get thinner tires, for a stretch.
