Kumho Ecsta SPT KU31 - Lumpy tires.

Maybe I got bad tires but when these things are cold they are lumpier then two week old sour milk. It feels like I'm driving on square wheels until the tires warm up.

I won't be purchasing these tires again. I've always run Falken tires in the past and thought I would give these a try. Ooops.

Thanks for this post - I was considering these tyres.

I had the same problem a while back with some Goodyear F1s. They were awful when cold and only got a little bit better as they warmed up. Despite having them balanced lots of times, wheel alignment checked, etc, they never drove right. Problem went away entirely when I fitted a set of Falken FK452s ... they're great tyres

I had them on an old car and experienced the same during the Wisconsin cold weather. Not much of an issue where I live now but I still don't think I'd buy them again.

The Ecsta Supra (sp?) 712's were OK for a little while, but got lumpy and noisy as hell after 10k miles. I have some Kumho's on the white car and they suck even in warm weather, but I don't drive it much, so it's not a fair assessment.

I remember the Falken Ziex's, boy did they suuck. No warning before givinng way in a corner.

Michelins have been my preference for a long time. I don't care if they're not the #1 wet, dry or whatever. For all around quiet they're great for me.

Funny you should say that HeavyDuty, I had the Ziex 512's on both my wife's Accord and my Integra and we thought they were great...never got to the point of them breaking traction though and if I did I didn't know it. Which seems to be your main reason for disliking them.
