Infiniti g35 19" forged ray wheels

So I swear I did my research hi and low to see if these will fit. Haven't really found a concrete answer on here nor . Hoping you guys can help me out . I drive a '12 TSX, not lowered. What do you guys think..fit or no fit? I'm hoping not have to modify anything for it to fit perfectly.

The g35 wheels are running (245/40/19) tires. Thanks!!!

The tires are the wrong size. The overall diameter is almost 1 inch too large.

This means that your car will be raised up from the ground by about a half inch. Then there are the warranty and speedometer issues along with a greater chance of rubbing on some body or suspension part.

What's the offset of the wheels?

I see..+30mm offset I believe. So If I get new tires, they will fit? 235s?

G35 Forged 19 Specs:
19x8 +30 ET
19x8.5 +33 ET

They will poke out a bit so you'll need to be lowered for it not to look slightly ridiculous. It is a very mild stagger and if you use the same tires sizes all round, rotating the tires won't be an issue as long as you just rotate front to back and back to front, not diagonally.

As for tire size, get to know these resources:

https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-tsx-tires-wheels-suspension-300/wheel-tire-fitment-resources-821398/

245/40 will not work, it is too far out of spec in terms of overall diameter. 245/35/19 is a better fit, or if you want to go thin, 225/40/19 is close as well. Do some research to figure out if those or if there are other sizes that will work for you - consider your road conditions, how much you're willing to spend on tires, other suspension mods like drop, possibly camber kit, etc.

Front: 19x8.5 +43 ET
Rear: 19x9 +45 ET
Hub bore should be 66.1

Will fit nicely, but they are heavy as hell, around 26+ lbs. They are cast aluminium made by Enkei.

IMO, a nicer option, but slightly harder to find, would be the Nismo A34 19s, made for the 2004-2008 Maxima. Those are 19x8.5 +35 ET and only 21 lbs. Forged by Rays Eng and they can be found in gunmetal or silver.

Here's what they look like on a G35:

A set just sold on Maxima.Org yesterday, see link below, but my350z.com and G35Driver will have a few for sale from time to time too. Those are tough to find new as well, and what sucks is that when the 6th Gen Maxima was discontinued before the 7th Gen, dealerships were closing out the rims for anywhere between $600 to $800 NEW, PER SET.

http://forums.maxima.org/wheels-tire...-255-40-a.html

Going back to your original question, the G35 Coupe 19s are a nice choice if you have the drop. Those are much easier to find used and there are even square sets up of all fronts or all rears.

Look at this, $575 + shipping, surprised those are still for sale:

I thought those g35 19's are too wide for our car though? I turned down a set on craigslist last week because I read that somewhere on this forum..My goal is to find a set of 19"s that won't need further modification so they fit...and will drop somewhere down the road.

Look at what I posted in #4. They will fit with the correct tire size and with a drop. Lowering these cars will bring the "poke" in a little bit. The width and offset will give you effective measurements close to what defcon and terdbath are running, but both of them are lowered. At stock height, wheels with those specs will stick out.

I gotcha. I could've sworn I read somewhere that these will rub with tires that won't throw of the odometer. I probably remembered incorrectly. And according to your previous post..you think 245/35/19 would be a perfect fit? As for lowering it..that would have to wait a bit if I buy the wheels. My TSX would just have to look quirky for a bit. Thanks for your advice!!

Can't tell you exactly what you need to buy, but based on the tire calculators I posted in my link, that size is one of the closest to stock diameter, so there is less speedometer and odometer reading differential than some other tire sizes.

For the rims themselves, the key is offset and width. Use the offset calculators and compare pictures and opinions of those who have something similar. For example, I used defcon and terdbath as examples, and decided that rims 8.5" wide and with +30 or +35 offset will work.

I will be trying the G35 Rays 19s on my girlfriends '10 TSX V6 this up coming week. Tires are 225/35/19 all around.

Supposedly the V6 sits 1" lower from the factory than the 4cyl. Is this true?

Curious about this too. My v6 sits 27" from pavement to front fender, and slightly under 28" rear.

I like it. I would've gotten those for my wagon if I was willing to go to 19s, which I'm not.

Any plans to lower the car? Lowering it even an inch will make those look perfect. Great choice.

I like it!
I've thought about these wheels for a long time but didnt think they would fit because of the staggered front/rears.

cwins: so you dont have any rub on the inside or anything like that??

I'm already lowered on H&Rs, so i want to be sure theres no rub before getting some G35 19s

thanks!

This pic validates my thoughts on what Acura should have done with the SE in the first place rather than simple refinishing the existing TSX wheel. Clearly, the TSX is under tired.
