2009 TSX:

So far no loss of MPG with 19" all the way around on my TSX. With factory wheels 17" getting 26.4 in town. Still getting 26.4 in town after 1 month. Hi-way 36.2 MPG on factory 17" and 36.3 MPG on the after market 19". Looks like no difference to here.

Very nice! Any rubbing issues and did you do fender work? I'm looking into rims as well but I'm not sure what fits our cars.

btw i saw your post on the other site. in regards to 18's my G35 setup was 18x8 +30 offset 225/40/18. no rubbing. no fender work either.

majority of the CU2's that went 19 in the front have 19x8.5. i pushed it to 19x9.5 in the front so you can use this as reference now.

Thats dope bro do you think you could have gone with a lower offset? I rim I was looking at in particular is Work CR-Kai in 18x8.5 +38 all around.

well these rims were mainly for Euro's. i can either add spacers or CNC mill the back part of the rim to change the offsets

Looks good defcon! I think maybe 245/30/19 would look cleaner. I think with coilovers, it would definitely make it look good. I even noticed with my S-techs that I still want that extra couple mm

looks surprisingly 'sunk' in for such a wide wheel. Looks like you can easily fit 10in with +35 offset. Our wheel choices just ridiculously increased.

Thanks for pioneering and experimenting!

yea i was surprised the rears looked sunked in for 9.5. good thing spacers will be an easy fix for that

im really happy the 9.5 in the front looked good.

hopefully one of you guys can pull off 10's in the rears

agree i think 245/30/19 would look cleaner but the los angeles streets and arent forgiving. i can try 30 series with some used tires in the future.

wow that turned out really nice.

The LS tips flow really well with the lines of the Type S rear skirt.

Have you decided what to do about the sides?

ordered plastic hub centering rings on amazon for $8 for a set of 4

OD outside diameter
ID inside diameter

72.62mm OD x 64.15mm ID

my wheels are 72.6mm
tsx is 64.1mm

im not sure about the .2m?m difference on the OD and the .5mm difference on the ID

should i be worried about those small differences?

A difference of 2/100ths of a millimeter on the OD and 5/100ths of a millimeter on the ID isn't going to affect anything. Machining tolerances on the wheel centre bore and the hub spigot are likely to be worse than that, anyway

Looks good defconskylude. Sorry to hear about the vibrations. Nothing more frustrating than putting on new wheels and getting that.

vibrations arent that bad. its my first time riding with 19's. also the tires are at 40 PSI which maybe too hard? maybe if i deflate it down to 35 PSI i wont feel the road too much

also one of my tires was mounted the wrong way in regard to rotation and had that fixed.

i found a pair of 15mm ichiba v2 spacers for $129 shipped on ebay. comes with extended lugs and its hub centric with a center bore of 64.1. this will go on the rear

not sure whether i should go 10mm or 15mm

I will try my 8,5x19 offset 40 rims with 20mm spacers each side. Rolled my fenders, but in Germany doesnt matter if I got a lot of room in my wheelhouse, they want an overall offset of minimum 40mm on our TSX. My total offset would be 20mm, so I could get little trouble, but will try to get it legal!
If I can wear the 20mm spacers I have 10mm and 15mm left.
They are H&R spacers specially for our TSX in aluminium 5x114.3
I will sell them on Ebay. Hope in 2 or 3 weeks. For interested TSX drivers in USA here the price
H&R 2065640 used 20mm 50€ + 35€ shipping
H&R 3065640 new 30mm 65€ + 35€ shipping
Both together 110€ + 35€ shipping
Dont know your prices in US, hope it could be a good deal for you, even with the high shipping

There is a measuring chart on the Ichiba website. I say 15mm. Im thinking of moving my 15mm spacers to the front and buying 20mm for the rear.

thanks ill check out their site

im so used to inches. i guess i have to buy a ruler that has mm

so technically with the 15mm spacer, the final offset would be 19x9.5 +30 on the rear
