Okay first of all thanks Hollyhood, Chaqui74, and SlickxAc for the advice given earlier today, but I'm leaning more towards the BC coilovers, I've read that some people have it for their 2nd gen tsx, however on the bc website, there is no listing for a 2010 tsx V6. Could someone clear this up for me, thanks

What spring rates are you guys running on the 2nd gen cars? I had BC Racing BR series with 12k/8k springs on a '94 Lexus LS400, and they were surprisingly nice. I've had Konis, Ohlins and other nice systems on other cars and was pretty pleased with quality of the BCs -- and they were $995 shipped, which was cheap.

I'm considering a set for the TSX, so I'm curious about spring rates you guys are using. 10k/6k?

Most people are running Megan's which are 10k/5k.

BC Racing is 12k/8k for our platform IIRC. But you can get custom spring rates at no extra charge.

XLR8 Coils have a STREET/COMFORT setup which is 10k/6k, and several other setups.

BC should be able to set up up with whatever rates you want for free, at least that was the deal when I was getting the ones for the Lexus. 12k/8K seems a bit much for this car for a street setup -- it's only 3,400lbs. The Lexus was closer to 4,000lbs and the front was very heavy (12k/8k were standard rates for that car).

Checked with vendor I got the BCs from for the Lexus. 8th gen Accord BC BRs come with 10k/6k springs, and different rates can be chosen free of charge. They are $995 shipped with BC's springs, or $1295 shipped with Swift springs. But you guys mentioned that already :-)
