Trying to gather all info in one thread. Guys using Eibach springs. What typically is needed to get alignment to spec?

1" drop will typically need what kind of alignment mod?

Im thinking, when the rear is dropped, you get more a of a slight camber, and some toe? so the toe must be fixed, can it be fixed if the upper ball joint is an eccentric and gives the car its original camber??

Basically, lowering affects the angles of the wheel, camber and toe. Depending on the wheel being used and keeping with clearances, is what will decide what needs adjusting. My question is, what is typically been replaces to correct alignment.

I got the same thing as 5thTo2nd. You should realize that even if you get the alignment "back to spec", it isn't really to spec because the entire geometry of the suspension has changed. I never went to engineering school so I wouldn't be able to explain the intricacies of suspension design to you, but if you're a layman like me I think you'll be fine with or without the camber arms. I got them just because I didn't like my wheels overly slanted inward.

Thanks guys. I understand the suspension setup on these cars. Second question.. FRONTS, Eibach dropped fronts, what did you typically had to change? Or are the factory eccentrics on the car enough to adjust it back or close to spec?

There is typically no factory adjustment, however, on the Eibachs you will most lilkely still be damn near factory spec. I say: lower it, get an alignment and see where you end up. That way you don't buy kits you don't need. The only risk is having to pay for two alignments (before and after camber kits).

Or you can just buy one of those "unlimited" alignment packages for a year, which cost slightly more than a one-time alignment. NTB/Merchants is one of those places who has the package.
