I have an appointment to have it corrected on warranty. I asked him about the lower perch position and he thinks that will produce tire rub and then I'd have to pay them to reinstall again to raise it back up.

I'm wondering any of you using the lower perch level and how that was as far as tire clearance and ride? I think one or two of you did try it, but didn't like it. Can you elaborate more?

Front:
For every 1" of shock movement, the ride height will change ~1.57"

Rear:
For every 1" of shock movement, the ride height will change ~1.16"

Measure the drop on the shock. Multiply by the numbers above.

I doubt the tires will rub if you have stock springs. Lots of people have their Konis dropped to the lower position with stock springs. The koni are also stock length. So...they won't allow the tire to over-travel and hit anything.

You will ALWAYS be on the bumpstop that way, however. But...I'm guessing the car still rides fine with a little damper force adjustment.

There is only 1 correct orientation of the perches. Do not flip them. It is unsafe. The perch is only machined to sit on the snap ring in one orientation.

Edit...I see you have lowering springs.
I would not suggest using the lower perch. Use the "stock" perch.

I guess I did keep the Koni-supplied spring perches, and as mentioned above, there is a machined step on one side, thus they can only be correctly installed one way. They way the perches are stamped would also make properly seating the ends of the springs difficult, due to the slightly concave shape on the correct side.
