All terrain on a wagon possible?
Fellow tire gurus.
Ive searched , and have seen 60sidewalls do fit on 16inch wheels on our tsx for winter setups but none have said they are all terrain tires. Tirerack has me going 55 as the tallest sidewall. So like 225/55/60. Im tryin to achieve 215/60/16r with Yokohama geloanders all terrrain on wheels 16*6.5-7.5 being iether 42mm or 50mm offset. We are going outlanding /touring lightly with a bike hitch and a rofftop tent. I have seen a wrx Impreza with bf goodrich all terrain on 215/60/16 with no lift . Couldnt we achieve the same with stock suspension. Help me turn this wagon into a battlewagon.. if i fail to impress the wife the wagon will be let go for a pilot 8

Is there a 16" all terrain tyre that is around the same nominal diameter as your stock 225/50/17?
If so...you've found your answer.
If not..then the suspension travel will need to be addressed in order to fit a larger diameter.
I would use a 7" wheel with 215/60's
Realistically...where are you taking this car that winter tyres will not suffice? Its long and low. Are you raising it up?
You're going to ruin it...
You do realise that Subaru people are just...like...the worst ever? And that they ruin most things....
