Acura TSX (Accord CU2) Suspension drop

Hi Guys

I live in South Africa, this is my first posting here. I drive a Accord CU2 (Acura TSX). I have a set of 19" rims, with 235/35/r19 tyres. I need to drop the suspension. Any suggestions and advice will be much appreciated. I was looking at Eibach.

Thanks.
Greg

Ship me your grill and I'll tell you which springs to buy.

There's several sets out there now, H&R, TEIN and Eibach that I know of.

I have Eibach's sitting in my garage, I've run them for like, over 20 years. Always happy with them.

Good lord, with all the stereo stuff, you might want to install the fronts only. How does it look with a full tank with all that shtuff in the trunk?

We did a spring break nationals car for one of the stereo shops one time and there was so much crap in the car & trunk that the fronts were all we could really do. Otherwise, it looked like a tuna boat.

Guys, just need some advice please. I really dont have technical knowledge, so dont laugh.

When I purchased the 19z, I was given 20 "nuts and bolts". I was told to use these ones (they each had a thin black rubber around them). 5 per rim.

However, when I took it for fitment, I was told that these ones wont work. So the guys just used the orignal bolts that came with the car. They tightened it manually, and it all seems fine.

Is this fine?

Nuts? Or nuts & bolts?

Maybe, maybe not. If you look at the bottom of the lug nuts that came on your car, they should kinda look like a ball or hemispherically shaped, rounded where they meet the wheel. They're usually called a 'ball seat'.

The lug nuts that go on some aftermarket wheels are a tapered seat. The sides aren't rounded, but flat yet angled & taper down.

You need to get the correct nuts for the car.

Edit: Really slammed at work.

You need the correct nuts for the 'wheel'. Call the manufacturer, not a tire jockey & ask if they require ball seat, tapered, or what.

If you put a ball seat nut on a tapered wheel or vice versa, the lugs will wear the seat on the wheel.

It'll work, kinda, but it's not correct.
