I just installed the new coilovers because I was bored with the stock suspension

No pics of the coilovers, I forgot to take them. They are not adjustable, but ride well, very similar to the Teins. The only bad thing with the H&r is they use a cheap plastic washer that the spring rests on between the coil and the adjustment collar. I can see after a while it will wear out. They should have used aluminum.

The H&r progressive coils feel better than the Teins. And the rebound could be a bit stiffer, but the compression damping is very good. A great coilover for under $1000.

H&R coilovers are based on Bilstein inverted mono-tube shocks, which can be argued to be a better shock than what Tein uses. Good choice IMO. Looks great.

I would say the H&R are better than teins, especially for the price.

I was very close to getting H&R for the inverted tube shock and progressive rate springs, but I felt like I needed more adjustability with the extra rear weight of the wagon. For a sedan, H&R is a very under-used set for this car. It looks great.

Thanks for the compliment. However my H&R have more adjusment range than my Teins did. The springs non my Teins seemed too short as you needed to adjust the collar up 60% of the way to get it to engage with the coil. It is dangerous to not have some preload on the coil.

I would definately say the H&R coilovers are better than the Teins, not by a lot, but for being cheaper as well they are a great decision.

However I did love my Teins also.

The Bilsteins in the H&R kit are much nicer than whatever Tein uses, no argument there. I was seriously considering the H&R kit but went with KONIs, mostly because of the spring selection and the fact that I could run stock springs if needed.
