2010 TSX w/18X8 + 30

Ive had these on for a few weeks now and Im really happy with the results.
I've got think skin so feel free to comment good or bad.

18X8 MB Battle +30 in Bronze on my Palladium. 245 40 18's. Tein S Tech springs.

The springs and wider tires are a major plus. Freeway ride is surprisingly similar to stock. Drives straight as an arrow. Corners alot better, and no rubbing.

not bad. if u were to do bronze, i'd say a bolder bronze. those bronze seems "washed out" but nice nonetheless.

+1
Still looks great though. And I'm not a wheels expert so I don't know much about those 245/40/18 stuff but could you take a photo of how wide your wheels are? I want wide rear tires.

Yeah I will def take more pictures as soon as the midwest gets some sun. I was a little worried about the bronze at first. It wasnt my first color choice but its growing on me and these wheels are only like $175 a piece so experimenting with Plasti dip or even painting is a real possibility.

Bronze just doesnt go right with silver. Bronze works with Blue, Red, White, or Black. Just doesnt work for me. I had Bronze Volk SE37A's on my Aegan Blue Pearl 03 CL-S6. I curently have Silver and doing Gun Metal Wheels this time. ASM only works good with GM, Black, or Silver wheels.

Yeah I have been looking at maybe a 5 or 10mm spacer in the rear to push it out as far as possible.

What color would you do? For me black is out. I like some contrast between the wheel and tire. Ive seen white on silver with a 1st gen tsx and evo X. It looked OK but not great IMO. So that leaves either gunmetal or some kind of factory silver look.

Man, your 18x8 and the slight drop looks perfect. I think I will go with that route too. Very nice and clean. :-)

The 18x8 are around 23 lbs and the 18x9.5 are around 27 lbs, last I looked. If you do a Google search, there are posts by Discount Tire that say the 18x8 are under 20 lbs, but I'm pretty sure those are incorrect.

This is inspiring! I'm contemplating to get 18" wheels with 38 offset just to clear the AP 6 potter BBK. Any advice seniors?

There is some dependence on the width of the wheel as well.

I think AP actually offers a clearance template for those with BBK. Or maybe it was another brake company...

The person I got my 18x9 +35 Volks from ran 4-pot AP brakes and had plenty of clearance.

Definitely. Offset, width, and very a underrated factor - spoke design.

looks sharp! a pic from directly behind and down low will give a good look at the width of the tyres and where they sit.

cheers
