08 TL-S 18" A-Spec wheels on 09 TSX?

Hey, what do y'all think about me running these wheels on my 09?

This is my friends car with the A Spec kit we installed a couple years ago. (Where I got the 17" TL-S wheels.)

It's a lease and he's going to turn it in, or sell it out right for the payoff which is $20,9xx if anyone is interested. (Minus stereo stuff.)

Very nice Farage.

Unfortunately, 4G TL has a PCD of 5x120 while our 2G TSX PCD is 5 x114.3.

I think it would look really good. I was going to get these wheels from Acura but didn't want to pay what they were asking for a wheel that anyone in town could have.

I like these wheels better than the current 18" accessory ones. They look more elegant with the "straighter" spokes.

They are used and a couple of them have minor dings on them, I dunno...the owner ordered his A4 yesterday, it'll be in around May.

I've briefly driven this car, it has an AEM intake, corsport TB spacer and CTE rear sway bar, ASpec body kit, wheels, suspension, an a$$load of dynamat and an extensive stereo system. It's pretty damn quick as it sits. If he starts dismantling it to turn it in, I'll probably benefit with some of the take-off stuff. If someone buys it, they'll have a killer example of one of these.

It is a very nice example of a TL. When I purchased the TSX I seriously considered the TLS 6MT. I'm still kicking myself today for not getting it. It would have been a SWEEET ride.

That said, when I'm done with whatever TSX we keep, it will be a sweet ride as well.

Will be, my a$$, I still dig PMM and yours is schweet. Hell, I bought a PMM 6MT Tech, then had to re-sign the contract when my dealer picked their noses and lost it.

I looked at a TL-S too, but the front interior room seemed a little cramped to me in comparison.

My original color was Grigio until they cracked the windshield while bringing it over from Vancouver.

Mother F...I just re-read your original post. That's a 08 TL-S for $20K. That thing would still fetch 30K+ up here. I know where I'm buying my next used car.

Here, for shits and giggles check out this add in AutoTrader.ca

http://www.autotrader.ca/used_cars_C...ributes=photos,,

When I was at Lynwood Acura last year they had a Premium with Aero kit for $29,xxx. We paid $35,xxx for my wifes car without an Aero kit...

^Lou, I know what you mean.

They charge an extra $1300 for the 5AT model whereas the States they charge the same for both 6MT & 5AT. Our I4 6MT Tech model is C$39K (US$37K), US MSRP is US$32K.

honestly, i would take the 08 tl-s over the tsx despite the odd interior [casset? and im more of a blue led kinda guy, not feeling the red led] too bad my parents are against buying used cars

Haha. I paid $43,700 for mine out the door. With Aero Kit, interior tim kit, and body side mouldings. I'm still bleeding...

Hey, fwiw, I f'ed up, it's an 07, not an 08.

Anyway, like I said, dude's going to lease turn it in the way it is, or will sell it for payoff which is $20,9xx.

Funny, we were doing J35 long block swaps for TL-S's and CL-S's in 2002 or 2003, then Honda comes out with it from the factory in 07. =P

I agree but they may match nice with the chrome window trim. Why not put them on one Saturday and take pix for use then it can better help us and you to see them on your car for yourself.

I think the plan was to give them back to his friend to swap with the a-spec wheels so he can have stock wheels on for lease turn in.

Welcome to the forums.

The OP hasn't been in this thread for a year, and he's not supposed to sell in this forum so I deleted his posts, but I doubt he would be back and see your post, and the car is long gone.
