Pretty late here but I am pretty sure it’s the 09-11 models. I have a 2010 at 175,000 miles and just make sure I change my oil more frequently than normal. Rarely I will get a sensor on the dash telling me to fill her up.

Hi There,
I have an 09 TSX.. I had the same issue. I tried everything to get the oil rings unstuck. I soaking the cylinders with sea foam, ATF, Kroil, etc... and nothing.
Ultimately I needed to remove the engine and repalce the short block with a spare one. Once the old engine was torn apart, the oil rings were full of tar. There was no way soaking was going to do anything.
