Wobbly ride on freeway/bumps
I am driving a new 2010 Acura TSX V-6. This is something I hadn't noticed before, and I do not think that it is normal. I am experiencing a wobbly, "boaty" ride when I hit bumps on the highway. The car seems to shift left and right and then finally settle on a straight path. It does not feel normal nor familiar to when I first got it. The car currently has 15k miles. I have done some preliminary research and people suggest that it could be struts. Has anyone else had this problem in the TSX or any other car? Thanks.

Check the tire pressure first to make sure it is 33 psi. Are you running the original tires or winter tires? The V6's ride is a bit choppy under normal circumstances so it may be normal.
I noticed a significant change when I switched to my winter tires (215/55/17 vs. the factory 235/45/18). I think that the higher sidewall height of the "55" profile tires helps absorb bumps better.

i find the suspension on the v6 to be decent. they can absorb a single bump pretty well but i find that the only time the suspension really gets upset is when you're taking multiple bumps on one side or another. then the car feels real floaty like a boat.
a good way to test your shocks is by bumping the car yourself. put your weight on one of the corners of the car to compress the suspension and let it go quickly. if it comes up and stays there, then your shocks are probably ok. if it comes up and bounce back down and up several times, then you probably have a dead shock.

It is more of a "sway" or "float"
I am driving on the stock tires and the pressure is good. Had a wheel alignment done and the problem persists. I have noticed that it starts the swaying on the left side every time and then slowly corrects itself (slowly being after about a second or two). It feels dangerous and unstable. I have never experienced this in any front wheel drive car I've owned (including the floaty Corolla). I do not think it's the tires.

I have close to 19K miles on my TSX V6 and the thing still drives fine to me. I've driven it relatively hard on freeway on/off ramps and the thing sticks to the road confidently.
Take it to the dealer and have them drive it to evaluate.

I have a 2.4L 2011 that I just got, and it does the same thing. It feels like it is floating down the road at around 70-80 mph. Had a 06 that didn't feel like this. Swarn, did you find a fix for your issue, or any helpfull info?
