Windshield / Dash Creaking

For the past two weeks, My windshield or my dash.. Sounds more like the windshield have been creaking when i drive over bumps, when my bass hits etc. It's really annoying and makes the car sound cheap.

Anyone else have this issue?

I'm thinking it might be the coil-overs shook my baby loose

Sucks man, and a dealer could easily blame it on the coilovers and not do anything about it...and honestly, I'd be the same way if I were them.

I'm now getting the infamous rear parcel shelf "crackling". Only took almost 2 years for it to happen. I'm going to mention it next time I take the car in for an oil change. My dealer's pretty cool and gives me special treatment (or at least it feels like it) because they like my car so much. So hopefully they're willing to attempt to fix it and not blame it on the lowering springs. It's coming from the passenger side and that's also where I have my kid's car seat fastened into, the bracket on top.

Overall I'm still very pleased with this car. Anything I've experienced has been very minor and only because I'm nit picky. The average person wouldn't have noticed the things I do.

definitely, car is amazing. My dealer usually takes care of me and the mechanic does a lot of my work on the side and they still give me a loaner so it's not a bad gig. Hopefully they will fix it for me

10k more miles till im out of warranty

I assume you go to Hendrick in Charlotte? I haven't had to service my car yet, so I've yet to experience their Service Dept. Hope I get as good as service as you.

My car also does this from time to time. It seems to come from the area where the windshield meets the dashboard, somewhere around the centre of the dash. There doesn't seem any pattern to it at all, but when it does starts making a noise I can stop it by pressing down hard on the dashboard (where it meets the glass) and then releasing it. This lasts for a few miles and then it starts again.

At first I thought it was the foam strip which you can see behind the dashboard. But a few weeks ago, when I was washing the car, I noticed a pliable, soft rubber trim on the bottom of the windshield (outside the car). I pulled this trim away very gently across the whole width of the screen, inch by inch, and squirted some shampoo behind it. I don't know if it's just co-incidence, but it hasn't made any noise since then.
