weird clicking from front left
I noticed that when i have my wheel turned to the right that my front left (at least I think thats where its coming from) makes a clicking sound. I first checked to see if anything was caught in the brake but didnt see anything
is it my axel? has anyone else had this problem?

im bumpin an old thread but i started experiencing this problem recently and its really annoying.
it sounds like theres something in the tire but there isn't. its just click click click and it increases with speed. its not that loud. you can only hear it when the drivers window is down. coming from front left. maybe something in the brakes? the pads have some life left...
anyone know what this crap is?

Does the sound only happen in motion? I think it might be just some small rocks stuck in the tread of the front tire and it rubs the ground every time the tire makes a rotation. My driveway is unpaved so I get the same noise Farage is experiencing with every car I've had...I would just look and see if theres andy rocks or nails stuck.
Im somewhat having this same problem. But its not a rock in the tire noise its more like a piece of metal is grinding against something metal everytime the wheel rotates, the fast I go the faster the noise gets. Like Farage pointed out it can only be heard when the drivers side window is open.
Check your CV joints. I'll bet there is an issue there. Is there a break in the rubber surrounding the joint? Usually that is the cause of premature wear but it can happen if the joint is shocked hard enough to cause any mild damage to the bearings inside the joint. If that clicking sound only gets louder after a period of time you should really look into getting it replaced. When they fail, and they all do eventually, it isn't a good thing. Good luck to you!

Had the same issue, it's a faint consistent clicking noise coming from the wheel. Turns out it was the rotor lining flaking a little bit around the center. They put a protective coating on the part of the rotor that isn't touched by the pads, and it can start flaking, which makes a clicking noise. Dealer sanded it down in a few seconds and I was good to go.
