Washed my car and trunk leaked?
I washed my car yesterday and didn't open the trunk until today. When I opened the trunk, water leaked from the trunk liner into the trunk. Luckily, I have a trunk tray, so no damage. The water was coming from that small ~2inch horizontal plastic piece on the right side of the trunk liner. I think I got water in the trunk by spraying the hose near the trunk switch. I never noticed a leak in the trunk in the eight months I've owned the car and a few months ago we had over 9 inches of rain. Any idea what that little plastic piece is for?

Sorry, I didn't do a good job describing the problem. I'll take a picture after work tomorrow. Btw, I washed the car (again) since I didn't get a chance to wax it before it rained and it didn't leak this time. The first time I washed it, I'm sure I pointed the hose up into the area where the rear camera and trunk switch is located. I guess the car isn't waterproof. I'm paranoid about water leaks after my experience with the leaking sunroof (that was not fun, search the forums and you'll find my thread). Btw, my wife is trying to convince me to keep the car since I just paid it off at least until the warrranty expires. I've had lots of problems with this car, way more than any other Acura/Honda I've owned and I've owned many. Honda just doesn't build cars the way they used to.
