Using Amsoil synthetic ATF in auto tranny

My auto tranny hesitated when downshifting between gears at lower speeds. I am trying Amsoil synthetic Automatic Transmission Fluid in the gearbox to see if there is any change. Thus far, the shifts appear to be quicker with less hesitation. The stuff is expensive ($10.00/quart) so I hope it works

Anyone else suffering from hesitation during downshifts at slow speeds?

hm..
My tranny does the same thing. I'm wondering if it is typical for it or there is something wrong. Awhile ago I saw a thread in the forum about it and there were a few people talking about it.
I don't know if changing the tranny oil and substituting it with another type could be harmful or good for it. Anybody else experiencing this and have an opinion?
