Rubbing Compound Scratches

I had a door hit that left some blue paint and a few black marks near the bottom of the passenger door. It them with WD-40, no good. So I used some rubbing compound. Now you can see the area where I rubbed. Looks like the clearcoat is dull, scratched I guess. Is this something waxing will remove or is a polishing compound a better solution??? Thanks!

yeah rubbing compound like rubs its. Finer polishes will clear it up, but it might be better to take it to a pro to even out the finish
