Retrofitting 2012 TSX wagon for spare

I hate driving around without a spare. Had I realized this I never would have bought this car. When I asked the Acura dealer about retrofitting the car to accommodate a spare, I was told it would run about $500+ for a spare on a wheel.

Just wondering whether anyone else has done this. I was told the labor would only be about $60. The donut was $200 +. Does this sound reasonable?

From: Here
buy the bolt for the floor and nut from the stealer.
find a low mileage UNUSED spare from an accord or sedan or
jack and wrench all on ebay all the time.

remove some of your lower inserts and dont bother buying the ones that fit a spare.

I was a bit apprehensive at first but after some thought, it makes sense. Less weight.
I ran 120k on my previous car, never used the spare.
spend the money on AAA and you'll not regret it.
