Rattling when using bluetooth paired phone
I have a 2012 TSX w/tech package. Whenever I use a bluetooth paired phone to make a call, something in the right front side door rattles. I've tried to figure out what it is, but can't seem to identify the source. I can't recreate the rattle by turning the radio up, which seems pretty bizarre to me. I don't think it's the speaker, but I guess I can't be certain. Has anyone seen/fixed this problem? Next time I take it for a drive, I'll record an audio clip.
While trying to record audio of the rattling, I located the source. It is the door handle on that right front door that vibrates whenever I get audio from the bluetooth phone link. I put some electrical tape on the inside of the handle, and that seemed to muffle the vibration enough that I no longer hear it.
Yeah, I turned up the treble all the way to see if that was the problem. It appears to be just the door handle on the right side. I could tell that it appears to be looser than the driver side door handle, and vibrates with high frequency sounds causing a rattling. After I put the electrical tape on the inside of the handle, I no longer notice it.
