so the other day I'm at carwasg detailing my 2010 TSX 2.4 it was idling for about 30 min I get in to pull into car was and the D is flashing and the check transmission light came on I was just idling when this happened. I turned car off and back on everything was back to normal. So last night I'm driving and I get 3 dash lights pop up at once it was the check transmission, vsa and check emission, and all my gauges went all the way down for a couple seconds.. I pull over and restart car everything is back to normal just the check emission is on. My transmission shifts fine never had shifting issues. Anyone have any ideas what's going on??? any diy suggestions?

 

Not sure how much wattage you were using when it was idling for 30 minutes or so (perhaps the stereo was on very loud?). The alternator does not charge very good at idle and probably was not able to keep up with demand during those 30 minutes. I would have your battery tested. Best guess is that: If new, it needs a good overnight charge or if a few years old, probably needs to be replaced.
