Possible sunroof issue.

So I just bought a 2010 with 5500 miles. Today I was looking at the sunroof from he outside and it doesn't close flush with the car roof. If you run your hand from the car roof to the sunroof it's not a smooth, flush transition. The sunroof sits about 1/8 maybe less, below the cars roof. I am use to seeing all sunrooms flush with the cars roof. Is this normal? I don't hear any air leaks while driving on the highway and I know it has drain tubes incase water does get in. I would post pics but I cannot yet.
Thanks

Mine sits pretty flush.
The seal sticks up a little more than the panel but the rest sits flush.
Might wanna go compare to some new ones at the dealer just to be sure

Does the TSX have a place in the rear headliner for a handcrank to move the sunroof if the motor goes out? If so, maybe you could give it a twist or two and see if it comes flush. Maybe the motor isn't extending all the way out... IDK.

Not mine. But I am just picky like that. I want it flush. I will be taking it to the dealer to have the tsb done or they can fix mines.

Mine sits flush with the roof. So you bought a 2010 w/ only 5500 miles?

The panel can be adjusted by loosening some screws and readjusting them. A friend of mine who works for Honda manufacturing looked at my car and they brought out some measuring tools...long story short Honda can't build a body with the moonroof hole in the right place so the moonroof panel doesn't sit right when installed. Mine is adjusted all the way back as far as the mounts would allow, and its still not in the "middle." Its as close as it'll go however. The dealer might be able to move it around a bit, but it probably won't be perfect.

Just found this thread; interesting thing about the moonrooof not rising flush with the roof. I noticed it a couple of weeks ago on my recently aquired 010. It doesn't leak or make any noise, so.... since it ain't broke, I'm not going to worry about fixing it. This strikes me as one of those things could easily be made worse (leaking, either water or air) instead of better, so I think I let this sleeping dog lie.
