hey everyone i have a 09 TSX and i change my own oil. i was wondering if anyone could tell me how i can reset the code?

 

go to your oil life screen i.e. 50% or whatever it is, and press and hold the reset button. Or at least I believe thats How I watched the guy do it in my car when they forgot to reset it.

 

yeah, i tried that. still no good. maybe i should just call acura.

 

open your owners manual go to page 415. it explains how to do it. Its essentially holding the button down to reset it like i said. Make sure you do it for 10 seconds then it will give you aprompt to reset or cancel.

 

Yeah thats exactly what to do owners manual is the way to go acura told me the first time to look it up and hung up on me the book explains it very easy to do lol
